ALDImobile Australia APN Settings for iPhone/iPad and Android

Aldi Talk is known as ALDImobile/MEDIONmobile. It is a telecom operator providing telecommunication and internet services in Australia, Netherlands, and Germany. In Australia, it is connected with Telstra telecommunication. In Germany, it is using Telefonica network, and in the Netherlands, it is connected with KPN Telecom Company.

Some people have a misconception about ALDImobile and Telstra. They think that if they are using Telstra, they can use the APN settings of ALDImobile to access the internet. It is quite wrong. If you are using ALDImobile internet services, you need to use the correct ALDImobile APN settings only. Telstra APN Settings will not work with the ALDImobile network.

ALDImobile network frequency for the 3G network is UMTS 850 MHz and for the 4G network, LTE Band 28 700. The network frequencies for 3G and 4G vary countrywide. In some regions, it is LTE band 3 1800, LTE Band 7 2600 and LTE Band 1 2100.

ALDImobile APN Settings for Internet & MMS

Here, I am describing all of the APN Settings for Internet and MMS. You need to configure the correct settings to access the internet. Make sure you are typing “Internet” as I have mentioned. Be careful about the case of the alphabets. If I have given the “Internet” and you type it “internet” or “INTERNET,” it is wrong, and you would be unable to access the internet.

Follow the Settings below.

ALDImobile APN Settings for Android

If you are using ALDImobile internet services on an Android device, you need to configure a different APN setting to acquire the internet. Here, I am listing the required internet and MMS settings for the users of ALDImobile. Make sure you are inserting the settings as I have discussed here. You need to add the settings in the correct case. Here are the APN Settings for Android 9 Pie. If you are using any other Android version like Android 7 Nougat or Android 5 Lollipop, you need to get the APN settings from your ISP according to your device version.

ALDImobile APN Settings for Internet & MMS [For Android]

Tap the “Settings” in your phone and open the “Connections” category.

Select the “Mobile networks” and tap the “Access Point Names” category here.

Here you will see the “ADD” option on the right top corner of the window. Tap this option to add your new APN Settings.

Now add the following settings.

Now, restart your Android device to apply the settings you inserted.

ALDImobile APN Settings for Windows

ALDImobile APN Settings for Windows OS is entirely different. If you are using the ALDImobile internet services on a Windows device, you need to use different settings. Here are the APN settings for Windows 10. However, the people using a different version of Windows like Windows XP, 7, 10, etc. need to get the relevant APN Settings from their Internet Service Provider.

Go to the “Apps list” in your device and select the “Settings” from here.

Now, select the “Network & Wireless” category.

Here, you need to tap the option “Cellular & SIM.”

In the “Cellular” category, tap the SIM Card you are using and select “Properties” from here.

Here, you will see the “Internet APN” section. Tap the “ADD” option at the top right corner of the window to add the new APN settings.

Type the APN settings given below.

Now, Select the “Save” option at the bottom of the page to save the changes. Restart your device to apply the settings.

ALDImobile APN Settings for iOS Devices

The users of iOS devices like the iPhone can get the ALDImobile APN Settings from here.  I am providing here the APN Settings for iOS 12. If you are using another version of iOS like iOS 7 or iOS 8 etc., you need to contact your Internet Service Provider to get the correct APN Settings.

Tap the “Settings” in your iPhone and select the “Cellular” category from here.

Activate your mobile data. In the “Cellular Data Options” select the “Cellular Data Network” option.

Now, you need to tap the “Cellular Data” option to insert the new APN settings in the given boxes.

In the LTE Setup (Optional), leave the APN, Username, and Password fields blank as they are.

In the MMS section, you need to type the following information.

Press the “Home” key to save the current APN Settings. Restart the iPhone to apply the changes. Now, you can access the internet.

ALDImobile APN Settings for Firefox OS

If you are using ALDImobile internet services on a device that is running on Firefox OS, you need to configure the following APN Settings in it to access the internet and MMS services. Make sure; the data connection is Enabled in your device. Now move to the below section to add new APN Settings.

Open the “Settings” in your Firefox device and tap the “Cellular & Data” category.

Now, scroll down the list of categories and tap the “Data Settings” option from the list.

Add the following APN Settings.

Select to the “Save” option to save the settings and reboot the device to apply the changes.

ALDImobile APN Settings for Ubuntu

The ALDImobile customers using a Ubuntu device, need to configure a different APN Settings in their device. The settings you have used in Android, Windows or Firefox will not work in Ubuntu OS. Find below the APN Settings for your Ubuntu OS to access the internet.

In the “Network” category, tap the “Cellular Settings” option.

Tap the “Carrier & APN” category.

Don’t forget to “Enable” your mobile data.

Select the “APN” section and add the following settings in it.

ALDImobile APN Settings for BlackBerry

If you are using a BlackBerry device, you need to configure the relevant APN settings to access the internet and MMS services. You cannot use the APN Settings given above. Here are the APN Settings for a BlackBerry device.

Go to the Home Screen and swipe down from the top to make the “Settings” visible in your BlackBerry device.

In the “Settings” you need to select the “Network Connections” category.
